Hikakke candlestick pattern

Hello,

Can I request either the addition of the Hikakke candlestick pattern (https://www.investopedia.com/terms/h/hikkakepattern.asp) or is there is a way for me to custom code it?

Hm in your link it says:

"The third candle closes below the low in the first setup (or above the high in the second setup) of the second candle."

but that is not reflected in the picture.

Anyway, I looked up the definition and put it in MT. Email support@medvedtrader.com, Jerry will give you a version that contains the Hikkake pattern.

Thanks for adding it. Not sure the criteria you added, but it's not fully correct.

For example HLBZ on the 5 minute chart at 11:10am Sept 21st 2021 is the start of a bearish hikkake, confirmed by 11:20 candle.

So we need

- Inside bar (11:15 candle)

- For bearish we then need a both higher low and higher high (11:20 candle)

- For bullish we need both lower low and lower high

But either way that 11:20 candle is a hikkake pattern.
