Yellow doji candles

Hi

How can I turn off the yellow color of doji candles in MT?  I prefer green/red candle colors only but can't seem to find the right setting.

you cannot turn it off for unchanged candles. However, you can just create a paintbar that always colors red or green, even for unchanged and set it to color candles.

Looks like I need to configure some rules in the paintbar editor. 

I am completely new to paintbar. Can you provide some guidance for a newbie how to set this up please?

What color would you want a doji candle to be?

Let's say you want it always to be the positive color.

 

Then you configure a paintbar that says "If Close>=Open then Positive Color else Negative Color."

Put that on the chart, then make it color candles.

thanks Mike! I created a paintbar based on your suggestion. How can I apply the paintbar setting to a chart? Probably a very dumb question but I can't find any command or button to do so...

Hans, place a "Paintbar" indicator on the chart. Select the paintbar you created inside that indicator. There are also options on how to apply the paintbar, visually, to the chart. For your purpose, select the "Color Candles" method.
