News Window - Reading pane

Hi, please consider the following:

 

• it should be possible to read news headlines in the news window instead of invoking the external browser. (i.e. add a reading pane to the news windows, both "All News" and "Symbol News".)

 

• It should even be possible to have the news item retrieved automatically when a headline is selected. 

 

This wouild be time-saving and also would use less screen real-estate.

 

(you can retain the option to invoke the external browswer, for those that prefer it.)

ok, we have all that. We have a reading pane available on the news window. What am I missing?

You are mostly getting news from Stockwatch - their news pages are clean.  For free news, such as Google or Yahoo, the news pages have TONS of crap on them and that can cause MT instability. Unfortunately we cannot do much about that - the embedded browser is crap.    So because of that, we didn't want to make it open the news pages on it's own .

 

Guess I can add a checkbox for that.
