  1. Line Delete - DEL KEY - don't you have the other hand? I made the delete button available for QAT - version 1.0.953.0846 and above. Just re-uploaded the update.
  2. Just found and fixed this issue with the sync charts and some other situations where the window size would be different than the chart size and would get stuck. this was caused by an unhandled error that was added recently. That may very well have caused the other issues with the ribbons. I will update the build shortly. Please let me know if you have any issues after the update.
  3. Hmm, you know, I never really used it below the ribbon. you don't have the icons in the caption, but it does give you a lot more room for the custom toolbar in affect. and you can still hide the ribbon
  4. Well, there are a few things you are missing 1) we do have keyboard shortcuts. For example, to delete the line, if it is highlighted, just hit the DEL key 2) the benefit of the ribbons is that you can customize them. If you have a button that you frequently use, you can right click on it and select the menu to "Add To Quick Access Toolbar". The button (or whatever item) will now show up in the caption, where it can be immediately accessed. Also, if you are doing something that requires a lot of access to the ribbon, you can just double click on the tab and the ribbon will stay up so you don't have to click on the tab first then the item.
  5. Just fixed. Sent both of you update links. Fix will be in the next public build as well
  6. thanks for the update. I was only able to recreate it when switching to Classic, so thought that was it. Anyway,. will track it down.
  7. you may have an Aero theme selected, but still not have Aero enabled. are the captions and borders of your windows transparent?
  8. Way, I have been able to recreate this issue. Seems to only happen if using CLASSIC windows theme. Doesn't happen with Aero. Microsoft fixed a bunch of stuff when using Aero. I'm looking further into this
  9. can you please send me a screenshot of when the chart does not maximize so I can see what you are referring to, and also select FILE/Save Layout and send me the layout file along with the MTLOG.LOG file
  10. all charts or just 1? Historical or Intraday? any errors - do you have the error indicator showing on the status bar on portfolio or dashboard? if you restart MT, does it still happen? What operating system? Is Aero enabled?
  11. that you can use @ESZ13 as a symbol across multiple datafeeds that support futures, and you can get free delayed quotes and 1 day backfill for it with Yahoo?
  12. that is not what that screen is used for. the APPLY button applies changes you made. (Like SAVE). That screen does NOT assign the specific color set to any chart. That is done on the chart itself. On the VIEW tab, click on color sets and select the newly created color set.
  13. the system color sets cannot be edited. The user defined ones can. You can however copy the system color set and then edit the copy, giving it another name
  14. The apply button becomes active any time you make any changes. The selection of the color set on the settings screen does not change anything. All it does is let you edit the settings on the color set you selected. The selection itself has no meaning
  15. the new expiration column shows Option, Futures, and Future Options expiration: For options, looks like this: 2013-11-16 For futures looks like this: 2013-12 Will be in the next update (after 1.0.887)
  16. and I am using the word chart for graphics too. MT has 3 different color sets and one group of Visual Styles. Color sets only control the display attributes of the content of the windows. Visual Styles control the display attributes of the windows themselves and plain controls (text boxes, labels, combo boxes, etc) on the Ribbon and plain forms. Color Sets: Grid -Controls display attributes of data content on any table of data, like Quote Grid, News, Raw Data, the source and window lists on the Dashboard Level II/Market Depth - Controls the display attributes of the Level II content. Charts - This color set impacts everything displayed on the chart itself. It does NOT include display attributes of things like the Ribbon, caption or window borders. Only the chart content Visual Styles: These control things like window borders, caption, Background and text color on Ribbons and plain form windows such as the settings screens. There are 3 Microsoft Office styles: Office 2010 Black Office 2010 Blue Office 2010 Silver We can, and did, let he end user select between them. We cannot customize what each one of those visual styles controls. These styles are very much impacted by the Windows AERO display setting. If you are using a Windows theme that is not Aero Glass or have Aero Glass disabled in your windows settings, things will look significantly different than if you do enable that option. You have it disabled.
  17. the question was regarding Chart window and Grid color schemes. You are referring to colors used by the core windows, which is not part of those color schemes and we have limited control over
  18. the next build will have some tweaks to the Level I quote area on the Level II screen
  19. the Level II I think is the only place where we have the colored text on Visual Style controlled background. Will need to look at that Any other places hard to read with that theme?
  20. 1.0.0.2 is the version of the bollinger bands indicator, not the app. from your description, it updated, so if you now restart MT, you should see the new implementation
  21. fixed the Bollinger Bands. Now they match exactly. This gives me a chance to test the fixes to the Update mechanism in the last MT version. I just put up just the BB indicator in the update. Select FILE/HELP/Check Updates...
  22. the way those visual styles work, I don't control them. I just set one of the 3. Actually, there are also 3 more for "Office 2007" and one for Windows 7, but there are other issues with those and they don't look that different. The only other option is to not use the visual styles at all, but then I have to manually customize all controls on every screen, which would be a huge pain and would also have performance impact. Did you try the "Black" style?
  23. I copied the values from Hist Data from 1/26/13 to 11/12/13, which is what Yahoo backfill had. That is 200 days. I put that data into Excel and averaged the CLOSE column. the result is 31.93. Repeated with Google data, which would be to 2/3/13 to 11/15/13. Result is 31.936. Not sure where QT got the 30.81, but this clearly shows that the MT calculation is correct
