For some reason the setting keep reverting even without me exiting medved. Eg I set the share count (less then what I own for some acconts) and anon across multiple trade windows today and every once in a while the shares get set back to the amount I own and the anon flag is removed.

Got it, was able to kill it from taskman well Medved was still opening. I have a backup before I fixed it if you want it for bug troubleshooting

I hav a single depth chart that keeps showing as hung up and is causing medved to hang up. Can't close, have to kill the app. Is there a way to remove that chart since when I initially log in I have access to most things, ie not everything is hung up? In taskman I can see the depth chart is not responding. Tried closing it via windows in medved but then more things hang up. Maybe remove from config file?

Will give that a try. I was thinking about trying that last night as I noticed that it held when you changed back to Market. Is there a reason its locked up for Market orders? Also noticed, since order windows don't hold the settings you set you need to do it every time you launch Medved.

Also forgot to mention that the "Sp inst" box is not available (can't click the drop down and is greyed out) when the order type is Market in Medved.

Was thinking maybe an interm way to make this happen would be to link trade windows buy/sell buttons possibly by a new check box in the trade window or another type of Pin.

Is there a way to make an order Anonymous in the Medved trade window for Questrade? You can do this in the trade window for Questrade.

Yup that was the problem. Now if I have a position the field populates. Thanks you, didn't notice that in the options. Jeff

New trade ticket I do see the green top left corner 3700 which I can click and it then populates the qty. Is that what is supposed to happen.

In the help it states: Quantity - these options control the automatic filling in of the quantity field in the trading ticket that when you invoke trading on a symbol. The quantity settings are can be customized differently for stocks and options. I can't seem to get the trade ticket to autopopulate the share count no matter what I do with the settings for that account. Every trade ticket opens up with 0 shares in it for the QTY. I am just right clicking on a chart and selecting trade. Not sure if I am doing something wrong?

Be nice if the multitrade window saved all the info accounts, shares. type of order etc, so when you open Medved you don't have to reenter the info to prep for the day if your still trading the same stock as the previous day. Be nice if there was a button or hotkey to autocalculate the max shares at current price and populate the share counts, should abide by the rules in the account settings for share count rounding

K.... Should the trade tickets I have open save the ticker, share count etc when you close and reopen Medved or reset to blank? The account associated does seem to hold but the rest didn't. Thank you, Jeff

Is there a way to list all open orders across multiple accounts or do you need to go to each accounts view individually? Can you only cancel an order from the individual account view? or is there another short cut to do this? eg. I placed 6 order then decide I want to cancel them all and they are across multiple accounts. Should trade tickets save what was in them when you close medved and restart? Thank you, Jeff

Request for a consolidated view of all accounts for a specific broker and all brokers so you can see totals (mkt, cash buying power), positions, closed orders, open orders.executions, etc

Request for a multiple order window so you can trade multiple orders across one or multiple accounts in a single trade. Useful for two reasons, someone trading the same stock in multiple accounts or to work around a broker which has risk review at a specified trade $ or share count. Ideas around it: Single stock associated with the multiple trade windows Top would have fields that apply to all the trades eg anon, type of order Configurable number of trades ie dropdown will define how many rows there are Each row would allow you to select the number of shares, account,etc Orders would be processed top down one after another unless the api can take multiple requests at once Check boxes to enable / disable each row so you don't have to modify the whole trade window if you only want to execute a portion that are in the window be able to drag the rows to re order them ie to adjust which get executed first, second,etc My thought would be to use one of my screens just for these multiorder windows and be able to have one for each stock I am trading across multiple accounts, then I could minimize/maximize the windows as necessary for the stock I am trying to trade. Would be even better if the multitrade window could have tabs for each stock so you could just click on each tab instead of minimize/maximize

I was able to adjust the theme in windows 10. I applied the Aero lite theme (downloaded it) and then modified the colors to a darker accent color (which applies to the window title bars) and I can now read the title bars in the trade windows. Screen shots attached. This is all using the medved night theme. Would still be nice to apply a darker theme to the trade windows down the road to not have so much grey.

Understood. Only reason I was asking was I was just testing out Motivewave another partner with Questrade who does connect to the the Questrade test API and the process seemed the same ie same pop up boxes as the live feeds to get the connection setup. I didn't think Motivewave had that before so thought maybe it was something new Questrade added.

Is the any way temporarily way to repoint my medved installtion to the test api, mod a config etc. I would really like to try some trade testing as I am looking to start utilizing Medved to trade on top of charting and news as their IQEdge app is slow totally unreliable, hangs often. Or is it much more involved to connect with the test api and not possible? I did already create a second account with Medved I was going to use to do the testing.

Can Medved connect to a Questrade test account/API? It seems like it only connects to the live one as when I try Questrade demo account credentials it doesn't login.
