Just wondering what this was referring to in the latest release notes. "ADDED - CHARTS - VbP Candle type"
I only thing I see related to volume is 'volume candle' and 'volume OHLC' as options in the chart candle type list. And I don't see anything related to candle type in the VbP indicator.

Can you make it so that if you double click on an alert line the editor window will open for that alert?
Currently if you double click on the line the chart window maximizes or minimizes. Ideal the Maximize/Minimze would still occur if you do it on a blank area on the chart.

Can you have the position bubble on the chart change to indicate if the position is in a gain or loss position.
As you can see on here its hard to see the - so it looks like the position is up even though it's actually down.
Possible options:
-Outline of the bubble changes from Green to Red depending on gain/loss
-Text of the bubble changes from "Gain" to "Loss" depending on the position
-Colored Indicator block or arrow beside the bubble.

I'm confused currently I am seeing after hours data on the historical chart but it's like the lower wick is missing from the current 314 down to the low of 302. Is medved just ignoring any after hours data lower then the current price on the historical chart?

Realtime updates is enabled. I tried moving COIN from my Webull portfolio to a Stockwatch one and cleared historical data but same problem exists afterhours low missing on historical chart.
Price dumped after hours, the low in the portfolio below is only regular hours low.
Low of after hours is not showing in the portfolio.
Last in the portfolio below is showing the current last which is also showing on the historical chart oddly enough.
Note: coin hit a low of about 302

Noticed a drop after hours wasn't showing up on the historical chart.

@Jerry Medved Any idea why the data is in the portfolio view but not showing up in the detailed view. I've also noticed that any etfs don't show dividends in the details view but do in the portfolio view. Eg ARKK or VDY:CA
Where does Medved source the detailed view data from?

@Kasper very nice didn't know about those. Keyboard shortcut would be sweet to have added but those definitely work for now.

Removing overlap didn't help.
I also made sure there were no windows over Medved when I tested and I am still seeing the problem. So it's all related to the function itself of "bring all windows to the front". When that runs it causes issues with the focus on the new symbol box in the chart when you start typing too soo. If you don't wait for the "bring all windows to front" function to finish before typing one of two things happen
1) your typing gets cut off
2) what you type misses some of the first letters

Added a feature request for a shortcut to bring all medved windows to the front. As then I could disable the auto feature in General as a work around.

Can you add a keyboard shortcut option for "Bring all Medved windows to the front"
Would help me a lot as I could disable the auto feature in General as it's causing me issues when I input new symbols to a chart. Put link to the symbol entry issue below

@Kasper Thanks for the idea, disabling "bring all windows to front" fixes it, the cursor no longer goes away (gets lost) from the new symbol box. But I need that enabled as I have a bunch of screens with lots of windows and need them brought to the front when I click on Medved.
I'll have to give a try adjusting all my windows to make sure there is 0 overlap and see if that helps with "bring all windows to front" still enabled.

Could be specifically related to TSX Venture symbols. I see the same issue for DEF:VN
Looks like it only the :VN doing it. If I change to :CA it doesn't show dividends on the historical charts. Why would that be?
I would prefer to keep :VN ideally as it helps me know the excahnge the symbols are on. If I just use :CA for them all then I have to go to the portfolio to know if the symbol is on a smaller exchange.

BUD:VN showing dividends on historical chart but not anywhere else in Medved (portfolio or detailed view). Stockwatch is the source I'm using for the portfolio bud is in.
Checked tmxmoney and it shows nothing for dividends for BUD. Check stockwatch dividend history for May 2021 BUD not listed.
Cleared intraday and hisotirical chart but dividend still shows.

Also if after losing context I continue to type nothing happens anywhere until I click somewhere at which point the new symbol box disappears unless you click within the new symbol box then you can continue typing.
If the desktop had focus control at this point and you press control-A you should see all the icons selected on your desktop but you don't.
It's like Medved gets lost between the symbol entry box and the chart window owning focus so everything is locked till you use the mouse to click somewhere and release the focus lock.
You can do other things like press the windows key, alt-tab etc and focus will change as well. But as you do that the new symbol box auto closes

My first click on the chart activates the Medved window, you can tell because the status bar of the chart window changes color. If I type really fast I can get a bunch of characters into the box but then the symbol box loses focus and the flashing cursor where I was typing is gone (symbol box stays on the chart). The Chart window still looks active as the status bar color is still the active color. I think the delay you have to wait to not have this happen changes depending how heavily loaded Medved is at the time which makes it really frustrating as half the time I go to type a symbol and get part way through and it loses focus so I have to click back on the new symbol box to continue typing.
My hope is there is something that can be done to allow the symbol box to keep focus. I can click across to any other app and start typing immediately without the window losing focus so I don't think it is a windows problem.

Moving alert line

If you have always show Trace turned off, when you draw an alert line on the chart holding shift you see your y-axis value eg 459.33 in the white box on the right.
However after when you go to grab that line and adjust its position, that white box on the right is not displayed. Can you have it show up when moving the line as currently you have no idea what level you are dropping the line at?
