PS I guess that dont like fixing things over there , same bug where the Days Change of the @ES contract stops displaying. Seems to happen rollover time . Have to relog in to AMTD to get the quote change back . Price not affected, just the net change

They dont seem to adjust the old prices for rollover affect , screwing up the chart. IB continuous does. Dont see a way to manually adjust in MT other than the split function, which seems awkward at best

Maybe this gives you a clue Had the alerts turned off, when the pc went to sleep overnight On wake, the date/time column was properly sized as I left it . Stayed that way for quite a while As soon as restarted the Alerts, it reverted to full size

Cut off the subs to only a few open portfolios , 60 symbols On relog , theres a blast of data, then drops to zero With the high sub count , stream of data is constant. Do you have to continuously poll these guys ?

I see the CNBC news feed allows a lot of subscribed tickers. (i have 4000), since There are very few actual headlines, but a constant 50-100k /sec bandwith usage. much higher than ameritrade is this normal ?? Do i need to subscribe to all those tickers for CNBC feed , or not ?

Still doing that , but very randomly . Sometimes no change on wake. Tough to debug, unless you know what internal code might be triggering it . What would cause a window to reset on wake from sleep. None of the other objects do this, only the Alert windows The auto size and fit to col are turned off

Was gonna suggest that , you're a step ahead. I figured out how it happened. I have a hotkey for that hide indicator function . . I usually use it on my main chart , before doing a screen shot. Must have been focused on the chart in question and didnt realize it , when I pressed the hotkey . I didn't think of the Compare Symbol as an indicator, per se, so it didnt dawn on me that this was the issue.

Yep, wasn't so far off when I figured I pressed something inadvertently . no idea how I did that , I rarely if ever even use that menu

Its weird, I have another chart doing the same thing with different symbols and its fine lol, thought maybe I pressed a secret hotkey to kill the broken one

Something odd , I have a chart with the XLF as base and other s&p sector symbols as Compare Symbols all of a sudden, the compared symbols show as hidden, even though they ARE NOT set to hidden . Cant get them back . Rather than just rebuild the chart, lets figure out why Also attaching the saved chart template test.txt

loaded up the new beta, bar size looks ok so far, but SHOW CURRENT value is not updating correctly with total volume (does not match normal volume indicator or actual bar size )

All three alert boxes did the column resize today on wake from sleep mode All the options to autosize or fit are deselected . Must be something in the code (yours or more likely Windows) thats resetting itself .

lol, its no secret , I know it very well, having programmed for 40 years. thats why I said, a NEW guy looking at the code would take many months to get hip! even looking back on your own code , not worked on for a long period of time can be torture. Im sure you know all this.

I like the new indicator. but notice the Current volume is different than the standard volume plot (by quite a lot) could you check that Also, a small point, since its easy to change, but red for ask prints and green for bid as the defaut ?

Seems kind of random. did it again today. all three alert boxes, revert to full width on wake from sleep mode top alert shows after sleep condition, one below is how it was left before sleep

I did on two of the three alert windows . Think the one that was set off also resized on wake . I set them all to off, just in case

Strange, but the column widths in the Alert log revert to full size (time column) after waking from sleep mode. I've manually reduced the size during a session to take up less space . Any reason why that's happening.

I use the ancient and venerable Dexpot Better than Virtual Desktops and MT works fine with it . As does everything else !
