  1. Win 7 x64. Font set to Medium (125%). Font is displaying VERY large and most data is cut off. Can't read a thing, No issues like this anywhere else, or in any other part of MT
  2. Maybe you can't tell but I'm a programmer (old school, not these fake new age types) , so hex doesn't 'faze' me. Don't really need to tweak all that much.
  3. Thanks. Another color issue, will mention it here rather than start another thread. Wondering why we can't customize the Portfolio scheme color in the same manner you allow for charts. Is that something you've just not gotten to or is there some reason for it. I know you didn't allow for easy mods in QT, but it could be done by hacking the ini file.
  4. Hasn't done it at all today. No explanation. Only change I made was updating IB's TWS platform. No idea what that would have to do with it. EDIT: spoke too soon. maybe has something to do with moving around in the Alert Log. sets off some issue. just reaching.
  5. If any other user could see if this is happening on their system, it would be useful .
  6. Still seeing very heavy cpu usage . Disabled alerts. same . Using 2 GIG ram????? 40% average CPU. not good. Drops off at 4PM as soon as the quotes die off. Maybe the throttle you talked about needs tweaking. At this rate , the cpu runs hot. Running an i5-750 quad core, 8 gig ram Win 7 64bit
  7. Cant figure it out. seems random. very odd very annoying, happens constantly. Caught a vid, will ul later I emailed the video , dont see a way to attach anything with this board.
  8. Thought I was losing it , when trade alert wouldn't work today. Seems the setting , if left a >=0 does not fire. Needs to be at least 1. Not intuitive, so should be fixed.
  9. On my system, for whatever reason (poss using 125% system font) L1 is unusable. Data does not show
  10. Just tried a close chart on AAPL, reopen , which seemed to save. When I shut down MT, the AAPL chart opens , with the custom time saved. I think stocks are working, but not working with my FUTURES charts for some reason, they are not saving . Using IB symbols. EDIT: I see where you are saving the data in the XML, but somehow its not restoring properly on reload.
  11. I catch it live once in a while, its more often than every 10 min, seems quite random. No other reports of this? If you cant duplicate it, I will screen capture the problem
  12. This is why I waited to adopt MT. Guess I didnt wait long enough . Some weird bug where the log jumps from realtime scrolling to an older time and stops scrolling. I watched it do this for no apparent reason. Sorting on time reverse. No idea what it is. Happens every 10 min or so??
  13. Jerry, this market is way too crazy to filter what looks like bad data Maybe you could add a volume component , so high volume combined with a large move would not be filtered. It would be rare to get a big price move without relatively high volume
  14. I assume you've seen the problem here. If not I can upload a screen shot.
  15. Talking about the options to select time of day. Selected 0 days ago at 9:30 AM on a bunch of charts. When MT is restarted, that setting is gone and the default time of 12:AM is there. Using this setting for futures, to see only data from the open . Not sure how you want to handle one session to another, but at the very least, each chart should save the time entered (9:30) in this case so it doesn't have to be redone
  16. Chart custom timeframes are not being remembered from one session to the next. These are supposed to be on a per chart basis as well I think, as setting it in one chart does not reflect on the others.
  17. not really a 'bug' but a usability issue. Depending on the color scheme, and the color used to highlight a row on an alert, some of the columns(net change, $ change) become unreadable, until the alert clears. Since you probably want to see the net change when an alert is triggered, this is not a good thing. Suggest altering those columns to a contrasting color , when an alert is triggered ,and the user has highlighted the row
  18. Would be useful to add column based global alerts. Bid size, ask size, and relative test, like Bid size > 10,000 and Ask size <500
  19. Basically thats what I was asking for. The gui placement of the 'lock' is not important. What's important is when you accidentally clock the close X, it warns you.
  20. I see that CTRL + and CTRL - is working for the Alerts box, but is doing nothing for the LEVEL 1 price data that displays at the top of the Level 2 screen
  21. I should have been more specific. I set up MT with windows that I NEVER want to close. The basic layout. Of course , I may open additional windows as needed temporarily. But it's too easy to accidentally close one of the chart windows and then have to reload it , or restore from a recent backup to get it back to normal. I thought a simple window specific FLAG could be set to confirm closure, only on those windows where you would never want to delete them. That would not get in anyones way, and would save the hassle of recreating them. Actually more user friendly, not less.
  22. I set a global alert for 1% moves. Obviously, I want that to reset so the next mover is seen. Symbols like the AD Line and Tick clutter the alert. Yes, I could separate them out, and then set up a Global per port, but why duplicate the global alert for every open port (5 in my case) when a simple ignore symbol filter could be implemented. And if I open a new port, I have to recreate the alert for THAT one. Just thought, if you don't want to do a symbol exclude for some reason, maybe a portfolio exclude for Global would work.
  23. Somehow, with server capacity and speeds being what they are, I doubt you'll be hearing from anyone.
  24. While on the font subject, how about making the alert window (scrolling executed alerts) font resizable, so more can be fit in a window
  25. Font is not adjustable and is too big, doesnt display properly if L2 box is not very wide
