  1. Just got back to this . Ok, wasn't setting as default. Assume will work after that.
  2. Ok, like I said, been using it for months, 1st issue. Wasn't sure what the prob was, just happ to luck out and unclick tick stream after trying a few other things. Poss for MT to detect this, and notify user? Else they will be very confused.
  3. Strange prob today. Noticed clear/backfill 1 day caused bad chart quotes in all symbols, due to L1 quote reverting to yest close before back fill Then , cant get ANY L1 quote on ameritrade (all stopped) though other fields like bid ask work. Turned off stream tick quotes to fix. First time I've seen this issue
  4. Thought it was only between sessions, but just had it forget an add of the Volatility col without a restart. I just saved off a layout for options, but think it should be saving the last used layout automatically as done per other tables.
  5. maybe manually select that bar and tell MT to ignore the volume? the prob is, it causes displacements (10-15 bars depending on the vol setting and extra volume) in the way the volume charts are drawn .
  6. keeping with the data theme , every rollover, the volume charts get totally whacked, due to volume discrepancies between total volume and what the bars add up to . so you get this big ugly high volume bar at whatever random time you backfill the chart. is there no way to filter this out so it doesn't hose the chart?
  7. I notice many new issues don't backfill properly from Ameritrade. TEAM a recent example. Only get one day. Is this an issue with their servers?
  8. saw this setup Can't figure out how he gets all those tools to display .
  9. Not even sure what double clicking on an option line is supposed to do, but trying it throws an Unhandled Exception box every time. See if you can duplicate.
  10. Yeah, sorry, I know I could have explained it better. This is where I think Im seeing this most often. Calling up a symbol that isn't already in an open portfolio. Symbol loads, L2 populates, but the L1 quote that feeds the chart and displays on L2 Box does not update. So whatever that connection is, is not completing for some reason. Too many quotes maybe? I don't get an error message but not sure you would display that . Happens kind of rarely, but I've seen it a couple a times a day lately. I'll try to nail down the exact sequence of events next time I see it.
  11. Noticed this quite often lately, that when changing symbols ,L2, and L1 price feed doesn't come up clean, price doesnt update, even as L2 prices do update . Relog from the sources screen on dashboard fixes it. Not sure what the issue is, maybe something on their end?
  12. Ok, I thought I'd tried INSERT to add a symbol on a chart page, and that it didn't work. But it does. So deleting and adding a new symbol that way works well.
  13. Drag and Drop when in Chart view, doesnt work. To change/add symbols, you have to drop into port view, and back again Would ne nice to be able to delete , and d&d without doing that.
  14. Yep, that was it. Was this just added, because I didn't make any change. Add an exception list? else Tick will never work correctly.
  15. Just noticed this today. Was fine last week. The IB symbol $TICK-NYSE not being saved properly. Getting a single narrow bar as the minute bars tick by. Current bar or two displays with full range. See if you can duplicate.
  16. the sub chart that wont bring up the tl edit is a plotting nyse tick. anything to do with the issue?
  17. strange, right click working on one tl now, but not another, in a diff sub chart. wasnt working at all before on same line. will look at later.
  18. Just noticed this, cant seem to edit color or anything else on a trendline drawn on a sub chart. Right click no response.
  19. Headline sums it up. Charting ok, but with show current value clicked, not seeing anything
  20. on the TWS platform IB displays true b/a size. They must be special
  21. I get that L1 is the nbbo, but by what perverse standard are the orders at the SAME PRICE not aggregated? So there's 100,000 shares bid on a stock at $5 and Ameritrade, and possibly others, are showing 8,000? Who does this help? It's just wrong, and the actual size on the b/a should be disseminated. I know it has nothing to do with MT, but thought you might know more about it. I believe IB does it right,
  22. Not really a bug, so I'm putting this here. Ameritrade level 1 does a lousy job of supplying true bid/ask size. Not even close. Looks like only the primary exchange is shown, but even that is a shaky theory if you look at the level 2 matrix, Anything you can do about this (not optimistic, I must say)
