stocktrades
In QT there was an option to switch between TD Ameritrade servers in case one was slow or not working. I'm not able to find that feature in MT. Is that currently available or will it be in the future? Or does clicking on the green button to start and stop automatically choose a different server? If so, it would ge great to know which Ameritrade server I'm currently connected to.
Jerry Medved
We do not have the internal server switching available in MT. There is Force Re-Login available on the dashboard. Click on SOURCES display, then you can right click on the listing for AMTD and select Force Relogin. That usually does switch the internal server as well. ydfah
This would be a good feature to have because lately I've noticed that TDA quotes are wrong (in QT) and switching the server fixes the issue.
Jerry Medved
have noticed some issues with them recently. For the time being, doing a Force re-login will work. Will see about the server switch. The point where the servers are known is very far from the point where the UI deals with them, so not trivial.
