Bigbocarat
On the latest beta 30.2, I see the new item " ADDED - SCANS - Multiple Results! Can now nave multiple results that show in multiple columns" but I dont see anything in column chooser or scan creation to make this happen. Can you please give some details? Thanks, Rob
Jerry Medved
the columns will get added automatically if the selected scan has multiple results. In Advanced mode, the commands such as SetResult, SetColor, SetColorAndShape can now take result # as a first parameter.
Jerry Medved
NOTE: columns get added to portfolio automatically if you are NOT using FILTER. If you are using FILTER, then after you start the scan, the column chooser will have the extra columns
Bigbocarat
Thanks Jerry, So that I understand: If I create a scan in normal mode (not advanced) and for example a VWAP crossing and a Previous close crossing get triggered, within the same parameter trigger clear time (say 2 minutes) then both will show their individual alert text in two different watch list columns. So the watchlist will dynamically grow and shrink in width as symbols trigger two alerts? I'll do some experimenting. regards, Rob
Jerry Medved
if you are not using advanced, then it will work same as before if you are using advanced, AND specify result # other than zero in the SetResult functions, then at the START of the scan, MT adds the columns. It is not something that changes dynamically as the alerts trigger. It happens at the start of the scan only - MT checks # of results that are referenced in the scan code and adds needed columns
Oliver
Hi Jerry, I set up my scan this way : But I ony get one set of result in the scanner screen. Oliver
I used the code below : SetScanResult(0,Ind1); SetScanResult(1,Ind2); SetScanResult(2,Ind3); But MT displays only Ind1 in the result screen. Is there something missing to display the 2 other indicators?
