Request for Beta

Hi Jerry -

Been a user of QT since... I don't even know. When I left the street in 95, I needed something to mimic my screens - think I found QT through SIlicon Investor? Is that possible? I have been running it using E Trade as my data source for quite a while. Today it is not letting me login without registering. There was a bit of software on another forum that fixed it a couple years ago - but I am too old to remember where that was. We use TDA as a custodian - but that seems to be no help with QT.

Does your beta product require any type of affiliation? It's a nice program - definitely worth paying for.

Thanks -

TD

@Marshall_Stack - Silicon Investor - brings back memories :)

- no affiliation required - just a datafeed.

We do not currently support E*Trade US.  Will in the future.

TD Ameritrade is supported. If you have any issue with that, let me know.  Otherwise, we have IQFeed, Stockwatch and soon Money.net subscription datafeeds.

Emailed you beta instructions.  Jerry.

How about Chuckie Schwab?

We don't have retail passwords, unfortunately.

That is fine - Yahoo will be great - 15 min delay? Fine.

Is there a simple way to import my QT settings?

Is there a profit margin somewhere in this for you and the team?

Was it your brother that worked with you? I think I remember speaking to him on the phone.

Twenty years ago.

Thanks again -

they started checking for very old IE browser versions. Well, the user agent QT was sending hasn't been changed in years (makes no difference to QT functionality) so it is sending user agent identifying the browser as IE6.  Well, that causes etrade to show a prompt, which messes up the login steps.
