MTfan Posted January 19, 2016 Report Share Posted January 19, 2016 MT 1.0.9766.438 x64 Windoze 7 I had drwan alert trendlines to most of 200+ symbols in a portfolio but there are no longer any trendlines on either historical or intraday chart. They disappeared. Portfolio has ! next to symbols meaning there is an alert Alert notification pops up saying trendline is crossed for some symbols When I select the symbol in the portfolio, usually the alert nofication closes automatically but not in this case, notification stays open Alert editor has trendline alerts listed for symbols Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jfritchey Posted February 3, 2016 Report Share Posted February 3, 2016 I am on the current release. I have Annotations Unique per chart unchecked. When I load a different template I lose the trendline drawn on the previous chart. Is there a param somewhere other than the Annotations Unique per chart? Mike Medved Posted February 3, 2016 Report Share Posted February 3, 2016 Annotations on charts are stored per chart "type" - that is, if it's a regular candle chart, and you draw a line, then switch it to a tick chart, the line will not show. When you switch back to candle chart, it will show. So if, when you change templates, your chart type changes, that is what is causing the annotations to disappear.
