stock777
Any idea how to find where this is coming from ? Could it be stuck 'internally' in an alert cue ?
Mike Medved
It is somewhere Some window is subscribed to quotes for F. An open chart maybe?
wilburpost2
I've had that problem also in the past. You can be expert user and look through the window list in the Dashboard, or be simple caveman and move each chart on your layout a little and see if there is a chart hidden underneath. stock777
Think it disappeared on its own. I looked everywhere.
stock777
Nope , still get an "F" for Ford alert under TRADE SIZE . Cant see where the symbol is active at all.
wilburpost2
Unless there is a bug, something in your MT is requesting quotes for F. Go to the dashboard windows tab and look for any window with F as the symbol. Then check all the symbols in every portfolio in the list. You could also go to the alert editor and make an alert for F. If the current price for F fills in then MT is getting quotes from a chart or portfolio. Save the alert and then click delete orphan alerts. If there isn't a F in MT it will delete your alert. If the F alert is not deleted then a port or chart or window has an F. Edited August 19, 2021 by wilburpost2
stock777
All symbols entered in the alert editor get quotes automatically, that proves nothing
wilburpost2
And my comment about deleting orphaned alerts, does that prove anything?

stock777
Im referring to the quote line when you enter a symbol in the alert editor Fresh , virgin symbols do indeed populate.
