David, when in the formula it says: %K(5.3) - what does it mean? Usually it is a %K of a period, but 5.3 isn't a period, since it is not an integer?

Sorry 'bout that. As I was fixing the trendline extending into the future on time-based charts, I accidentally screwed it up on non-time-based charts. Will be fixed in next release.

I am not ignoring this. Just thinking how to do this best. Hate to add tiny adjustment parameters to indicators, making them more and more complex.

Volume spike "removal" is not really possible - each quote is stored with its cumulative, not incremental volume. That is how they come across in the feeds, and that is how they are stored. Now, the display problem - here is how the "Scale by Max" checkbox works: If it is checked, then the maximum visible value is calculated and the scale is set to 1.05 of the max. If it is unchecked, then the average visible value is calculated and the scale is set to the lesser of 10 times the average or 1.05 times the max. So if there is a BIG spike (more than 10 times the average volume) , and "Scale by Max" is unchecked, the scale will be set to a value that is less than the spike, and the spike bar will go out of bounds.

Ok - I open chart. I set its timeframe to be something other than default. I close MT. I reopen MT. That chart still has that non-default timeframe that I selected. What exactly is the scenario where something goes wrong?

No, thank you. We wouldn't have known about this otherwise. Blame the hackers that discovered the POODLE attacks on SSL. Now everyone is switching to TLS1.2 and it is a huge pain and it breaks things.
