Sorry for the delay. I checked and it is working. However, you need to enter the symbols using MT symbol format. That means that you need to use either :MI or :BIT suffix. The symbols themselves can be either the alphabetic ones (TAS for example), or the codes, such as IT0000060886. However, the list cannot contain both types of symbols, so you have to use either one type, or the other, but not both So, a valid symbol as entered into MT, would be: TAS:MI or IT0000060886:MI Let me know if that works OK for you

Yes, you need few things: 1) we make fixes to the API since the production version so make sure you have the beta: http://www.medvedtrader.com/beta 2) Enable the API - FILE / SETTINGS / API... 3) MT symbols for futures are different than QT. Use @ESZ16 both in MT itself and in the API call (the API call must use the exact same symbol that is in MT itself)

ok the issue is your confusion about specifying the parameters. Note that you have the "Any" checkbox checked. The 10 and 30 that you have on the paintbar rule is not defining 10 and 30 period SMA/EMA. It is defining that the rule is referring to the indicator value 10 and 30 candles back. with the "Any" checkbox checked, the period and other parameters for the indicator are NOT specified in the paintbar. Instead, when you add the paintbar to the chart, the paitbar will look for the first EMA and SMA indicator it finds already on the chart and use whatever parameters those have. If you want to explicitly specify the parameters within the Paintbar, then UN-Check the ANY checkbox and instead click on the PARAMS button (we really should make that button stand out more) and change the numeric spin box that specifies how many candles back to look at to zero

from what I can tell, you are using MT on 2 different computers, with different MT accounts on each. One of them is using the beta version. The other is using the production version. Which version is on the one that you took the above screenshots on? Please give specific version # of MT

You cannot mod it on IB side. It is a QT issue

Are you using QT HTTP API? If so, should work without changes. If streaming API, then no. Not at this time

QuoteTracker is dead - and yes, it does get messed up with DST. Get Medved Trader. It should handle DST

Charts are topmost. Intended. You can change charts to not be on top but then charts are going to go behind alert log (and others) and things will get messy

1GB of data really isnt an issue especially if it is not actually used. MT does to cleanup on unused data, though not as aggressively as you suggest. If you have a performance issue, contact us and we can check it out - we are dealing with (and pretty sure resolved) a couple things

the source we use for that data isn't returning latest for some reason. Not a bug on our end. The data is not coming from the backfill source - it is a separate request internally in MT.

what datafeed are yo using?

Ed, can you go to FILE / HELP / Send Log/settings to support so I can look at the log. Normally something like that would happen if there are errors internally. Downgrade - you can get the production version on the website.

If I remember correctly, it is a tick by tick datafeed. Should work well for US markets.

Raw data can be set to Highlight block trades. You can do a "Trade Size" alert - where the trade is greater than X but that is not tied to Raw Data specifically. If using a datafeed that is not tick by tick, alert will miss some stuff.
