Webroot isn't the only one that causes problems. It just happens to be the one that caused problems since the last version release. Which security software are you using?

Not all data feeds return data for all columns. The one you are using does not provide data for those columns

Just got a reply from WebRoot: --- We have white-listed these processes (MT) in our database, this should resolve the issues you were experiencing. Please allow 24 hours for this to propagate over the network. If you would like to expedite the process, go to the machine locally and right click on the Webroot system tray icon. Select "Refresh Configuration" and click "OK". This will force a polling interval and send the two commands. ---- Please do that (right click on the webroot system tray icon and select Refresh Configuration) and let me know if MT starts OK after that

1) do you have snap to candles turned on? 2) I think this issue is when moving lines even if snap to candles is NOT turned on (that part definitely needs to be fixed - just recreated) 3) not drawing - if that happens, send me the log right away and indicate which chart/symbol that was happening on. Usually there would be internal errors in the log: Go to FILE / HELP => Send Log/Settings to support menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) And add the email subject or the Post URL in the comment

do you get Level II data? If so, you can select to show the Aggregate Depth on the VIEW tab, Panels dropdown.

Seems that WebRoot is causing a severe performance issue for MT on startup. May have just started recently. I tried installing on a test machine, but was unable to recreate the issue. Only way I know right now to get around it is to disable Realtime Shield in Webroot before starting MT, then start MT, then when it fully loads, you can re-enable Realtime Shield. we contacted WebRoot and they sent us instructions on how to get the needed logs to them. If you are using WebRoot and are seeing the performance problem, PLEASE email us at support@medvedtrader.com and we will get you the instructions. That way, WebRoot can get the issue resolved. MT shows that on the Level II window.

I checked TD Ameritrade - 27 is the volume that they return for .WDC_170127C77.5 This is not an MT issue - it can only show what the datafeed returns. If you go on the TDA site, and on that floating quote panel on the bottom type in WDC, then hit CHAIN on the right side, it also shows 27 (same datafeed).

Really hate to add more check boxes for every little thing. Things get overly complicated really quickly that way

what quote source are you using in MT? As for changing the quote source, doing so without either clearing the data for the symbol or at least clearing the most current rows on the raw data won't change anything since the new quote will probably be older than what is already in MT and thus ignored.

It IS part of the color set. "Annotations". However, if you change it to an absolute value and set the default to that, then that will override the system default. Draw a line. Right click on it. click on the color option and click on the Annotation color. Then click Set As Default button on the line's Parameter editor. Now the line will always use the annotation color of the current color set.
