  1. NICE. I didn't think I even had translucency enabled on the dashboard. Can you send me your settings?
  2. there are 3 things that can impact this. 1) In MT, SETTINGS / CHARTS / General - in the Data section - Max # of Days of Intraday data - if its set to 1, increase it. 2) In MT, SETTINGS / DATA SOURCES / CONFIGURE ACCOUNTS - click on IQFEED. Makd sure the "Intraday TICK Backfill - Number of days" is set to more than 1 3) IQFeed limits amount of tick data that can be retrieved during market hours and increases it after-hours. So how much data you can get will vary depending on when you request it. However, I am pretty sure it is more than 1 day. Jerry
  3. I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please.
  4. also, indicate in the email what you are doing at the time you get the error - are you getting quotes? Option chains? Do you have IB Positions/Transactions open and have some options in there?

  6. MT uses the dashboard. Settings button is available on the Dashboard, but also from the FILE menu on Portfolios and some other screens. You can also get to the settings button by clicking the little corner button on many Sections on the ribbon. You can bring up a quick dropdown dashboard by hitting F12 on any MT window (or clicking the little multicolor icon). You can bring up the main Dashboard window by hitting SHIFT+F12. MT also has what we call a floating window icon, which is a good central access to MT stuff. It floats separately and stays up even when other windows are minimized. You can turn it on via the SETTING MENU on the main dashboard. In MT all global stuff is configured in the settings. All local stuff (stuff specific to each individual window) is on that window's ribbon.
  7. It is supposed to open a chart. I fixed it. will be in next update.
  8. that's something special we threw in there What you are seeing are items in the Chart Ribbon's Quick Access Toolbar (QAT for short). Make the ribbon visible Right click on the button or other control (or even a section) that you wish to add to the QAT and select "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" NOTE: the order is the order in which you add the items, so plan ahead. Also keep in mind that all windows of the same type will share the QAT setup. (Intraday Charts, Hist Charts, Level II, etc) You also can put the QAT BELOW the ribbon, instead of on the caption, or if the ribbon is closed, it would be directly below the caption and would act as a very small toolbar. This can be handy since that gives you more area to put buttons on.
  9. if you UN-Link the Trade Ticket and then link it again, it will work. The problem is only when the window is created already linked. Will fix.
  10. will be in the next release
  11. I guess I could enable restore all all the time...
  12. MB Trading Integration has now been released!
  13. we generally relied on 3rd party products for the robust Excel plugin. But right now we do not have an API available, so that is a moot point. Once we get the API, we will contact the various vendors that used to connect to QT
  14. If you Minimize All, then you have Restore All. Otherwise, you can bring up the dashboard, switch to WINDOWS view (tab on top) and just highlight the window you want, or highlight all, then right click and select Restore
  15. Seems that linking is broken if the trade ticket is linked. Will fix.
  16. Notes Column. Editable in the Portfolio Editor
  17. we don't have anything special in the charts to keep zero or any other value in the center. MT sets the Y axis range based on the range of the data that needs to be displayed. It is relatively easy to force the chart to show from -500 to 500. Just add two "Horizontal Line" Indicators, set them to show absolute values, one at 500, one at -500. Set both to Adjust scale.
  18. Ok if you see this happen again, note the exact symbol and the exact time it happened, send me the log / settings, and include the symbol and time that the issue occurred. That will help me find the area of the log to look into.
  19. not quite following you. Level I does not update where? Portfolio? Level II window? Chart? Level II data - does it or doesn't it update? Is the symbol you are changing to on the portfolio getting quotes at the same time?
  20. I know there are issues with TradeKing via API right now. The login page in question is direct from their servers. We have no control over that.
  21. Wait till you see the chart trading
  22. Yes, there is a problem on their server end. I reported this to them earlier today and they are working on resolving the issues.
