  1. if you mean where each bar is a fixed volume, yes volume charts are available chart type
  2. my guess is it is tied to the P&L. Basically that is not a duplicate. That just indicates that you reversed the position. If you did not, then it just means MT is somehow out of sync internally on tracking the position in which case the P&L would be messed up too (does not impact the actual trading)
  3. this with IB? are there any duplicates shown on the Account View window, transactions tab?
  4. you can use multiple datafeeds at the same time. However, please note: 1) Questrade does not support Level II (Depth) data at all. 2) Just make sure you do not have 2 portfolio windows that have different quote sources contain the same symbol. Other than that, no problem.
  5. I would rather not mess with that one - the syncing of stuff is a major PIA on that screen and this has not been a frequent request
  6. if you have another datafeed, then no need to subscribe to Questrade's. one thing you would want to do - on the SETTINGS / TRADING / ACCOUNTS screen, click on your Questrade login in the list. Then on the right side, set "Alternate Quote Source" to IQFeed or whichever quote source you end up using. Otherwise if not done, Account View and Trade Ticket windows use the trading broker as the quote source.
  7. do you have the 2024 holidays for US Equity Markets shown on SETTINGS / CHARTS / TIMEFRAMES? they should have been updated for everyone
  8. you can click on the "Market opens In.." text and select which timeframe to use. That will determine the hours shown there and which holidays are used
  9. no, don't have that. But you can check the alert log for stuff that happened when you were away
  10. Assuming your broker supports conditional orders, you can set the conditional type to OTA (One Triggers Another). Then set the 2nd leg to be LIMIT SELL offset(Ask*0.05). I multiplied the price you set in the first order by 0.005 which is 0.5%. offset command just indicates that it is an offset from the price in the first leg If you were to use a more complex expression for the price in the first leg, then would want to use a variable for it.
  11. Window caption is controlled by windows. It is not individual window specific. you can change font size in Windows
  12. which P&L columns specifically? on Account View, VIEW tab, do you have "Active Quotes" checked? (DO NOT check it - just tell me if it is) P&L data comes from the quotes so something with quotes would have to be the issue. Does the CHANGE / Prev Close show correctly or also alternating?
  13. what broker? are quotes updating on the symbols in question OK?
  14. sigh. yes, working on it.
  15. you can set the QAT to be shown below the ribbon, in which case when ribbon is hidden, it will be a separate row just below the caption and will have more room to show stuff.. Cannot flip through portfolios..
  16. cannot make the dropdown box width dynamic. you can add it to the QAT though so it shows in the caption even when the ribbon is closed. Right click on it and select "Add to Quick Access Toolbar". Then, even if the window is narrow and cannot show the list on the caption, you will then be able to click >> arrow on the QAT and then on the dropdown in order to change it
  17. 1) sure. FILE / SAVE LAYOUT 2) the saved layout is just a file so you can definitely copy it to another computer. You can load it and save however you like. Loading it on smaller screen would probably require some moving of windows after loading. 3) saved layout only has the window layouts and window specific settings. It does not have hotkeys, portfolios, etc. For that, you can export all your settings and copy them to the other pc and import them there. FILE / EXPORT and FILE / IMPORT for that.
  18. on the TRADING tab on the toolbar, 1) make sure trading is enabled and account selected. 2) click on Trading Settings and select the option to show position
  19. Oops, sorry, you are right. Order type is required in the ORDER action. If you just want to change the quantity and limit price, you can remove the default ORDER action and add a CHANGE ORDER action instead - bottom left.
  20. We will be adding Schwab once they get their API to us, which should be before May. There is a detailed thread about that at https://forums.medvedtrader.com/topic/5296-update-td-ameritrade-schwab-account-migration/ If your accounts are all there, BY FAR the easiest and best result option is to just open a new TD Ameritrade account. It will not be moved to Schwab until May 2024, and by that time Medved Trader will have Schwab integration. Specifically using this link: (otherwise the links on the site point to opening a Schwab account and make it difficult to find the link for TD Ameritrade) https://start.tdameritrade.com/select?entity=103 If you need it for just data, just opening one and funding minimal amount to keep it open would suffice. If you want to trade, I would open one that is the same type as your primary trading account and then just transfer the assets from the Schwab account to the new TD Ameritrade one. Would tie things up for a few days but then would be able to trade.
