  1. A common reason to do a clear is to backfill with an alternate source or "Backfill As", so we don't normally auto backfill on clear. What I am thinking is maybe add "Auto Backfill after clear" option that can be checked or not checked in the clear button's dropdown menu
  2. it is for drawing trendlines, etc. One common problem with drawing trendlines is you try to draw a new tendline starting at the end of another one and instead of drawing a new one, you end up grabbing/moving the old one. To avold that, if you hold down the ALT key, the existing trenlines are "locked" (thus the padlock) and cannot be grabbed, so you are safe to draw new ones.
  3. y, I have a todo item to color code the alerts.
  4. No, we plan to do Paintbars (or similar functionality) after we do the main production release
  5. Set as Default button will be there in the next release. I emailed you
  6. This is not an indicator on a single security. This is basically an indicator on the Advance-Decline values. We don’t have the Advance & Decline data. In theory, you could get that in MT You had historical data on THE Adv/Dec indicator by just applying the MACD indicator with the following parameters: MA1: 19 MA2: 39 Smooth: 1 Based On: Close However, not sure who returns that data.
  7. AQXP - that is actually MT filtering of extreme values kicking in. Next update will fix that situation We plan to integrate Trade-Ideas
  8. Should be fixed in next release. I emailed you a version meanwhile
  9. The chart remembers the "last used" custom period while it is open. If the chart's period is custom at the time it is closed, it will be custom at the time it is open, which will become the last used custom period If the chart's period is one of the other, predefined periods when it is closed, then it will be the same when it is open. And there is no "last used" custom period. So if you select Custom Period after re-opening the window, you will get the default one. That works as intended.
  10. Lots of people use Level II. The issue just doesn't happen on their systems, nor any that I tried. Thats why I sent you instructions to get me the log that I can then look at to see whats going on
  11. I entered the 9:37 AM. it shows that on the chart on top. I restart (chart is on custom period at this point) After restart, chart still shows 9:37 AM - I didn't hit anything You said you hit 0. Does that mean that you are switching to a different period prior to closing?
  12. I looked at the last setup you sent us and the @ESU15 charts were not set to start at specific time. Can you resend the latest setup (export)? Also, if you want the chart to just start at the current day, you can select "Current Day" as the period. Assuming you set the timeframe to CME Globex Regular hours, it would start the chart at 9:30.
  13. because the stuff is not centered and the way things are laid out. There seems to be some problem with the are that the quotes are shown on not getting updated with the window resizing. I will add some logging and send you stuff.
  14. On historical charts that would be done manually – right click on the chart. Select Historical Data, then you can delete the specific row that has the bad data. We will add the option to remove high/low similar to intraday charts as well as an edit option later
  15. Xinfinitum - If you are referring to Intraday, then it is the same as QT - right click on the chart, select Spike Removal.... Note that you also have the keyboard shortcuts like CTRL+SHIFT+L to remove the lowest point in view or CTRL+SHIFT+H to remove the highest point in view
  16. Just emailed you. Enjoy
  17. that is not a font problem. that is something else entirely. How do you get that? Does it come up that way when you open the window? Or only after resize?
  18. we are not going to have an API for adding brokerage sites. That process is way too involved.
