  1. you know the drill. would really like their cooperation for that. Who are you thinking?
  2. we do not have text file import. Only delayed free source currently is Yahoo. We may add others in the future.
  3. some people want multiple instances of the symbol. And MT doesn't really know which one you want to keep and which to remove. As for why it was done that way, basically for portfolios you can have multiple symbols to track buy/sell yet want to only show one entry. Watchlists weren't intended for that, though I guess I could enable that checkbox. Will look
  4. we will be doing something like that.
  5. emailed you - RBC will work in MT.
  6. you are one ahead of me. I will look at what you sent
  7. @rush.. I sent you the beta. You need a Windows computer to be able to use it. Only way to do it on a Mac would be via Parallels or one of the other Virtual PC programs.
  8. nope. am working on it now, in between bug fixes.
  9. free ones - yes, only Yahoo right now. can't do Google due to some technical reasons. Paid ones - Stockwatch works for Canadian securities. TD Waterhouse - can do it if someone gives me access to an account that can get quotes.

    Export

you can't. This export is intended to be imported only by MT, not other programs. As for the API, we plan to add that in the future, but it is not available right now.
  11. Using the standard MT format for the symbol: @ESZ14 for example, you can get delayed quotes and backfill from Yahoo and just backfill from Google. IQFeed had backfill and quotes available - RT or delayed
  12. on the dashboard, on top left, click on the button to edit portfolios (or just to open the sample one). Once it is open, you can add / remove symbols etc,. double click on a symbol to open chart. There are right click options to open other types of windows.
  13. I emailed you As for QT, it will work on Win 8 (at least as much as on others) but I think it may need to be run as Administrator explicitly. And lots of stuff in QT is no longer working because of changes to web sites and nobody doing maintenance.
  14. When we make user defined alerts available, we will definitely post code for some existing indicators.
  15. @banimal, @netkiwi, @seasonshu - just emailed you.
  16. would consider it in the future, but not right now.
  17. pev11 - you got it now, right? Qubes - just emailed.
  18. you missed a big 4th option. Do one portfolio with separators to define groups. You can then minimize the groups.
  19. MT does not currently have an API available, so no plug-ins. We plan to do that in the future. ROC - Rate of Change - What would Yesterday's ROC be? Change from previous close? that is already there - the CHANGE and CHANGE % column. As for other indicators, adding them as columns would mean they have to be computed in real-time for all symbols in the portfolio being viewed, which can be expensive (as far as CPU usage). We do plan doing that at some point, but right now it is low priority
  20. I emailed you the beta link. NOTE: MT does not currently support MB Trading. We plan to add that in the future. You should still be able to use MB with QT if you have the QT Patch....
  21. can you send me a picture of the chart please.
  22. I made the CTRL+UP/DOWN arrows do 1 hour increments. I really don't want to do settings for it. We already have too many and more settings just makes it overwhelming
  23. if in a portfolio (vs WatchList), there is a "Consolidate" checkbox.
