  1. that works but I meant MT support. Support@medvedtrader.com
  2. I checked with IB and do not see any issue. Please set the raw data to show all columns, then email a screenshot to support
  3. if you clear the data on the chart, does it work after that?
  4. Nothing changed on our end. You most likely are not using the TradeKing account in MT for anything. If that happens, after a while, MT registration will expire. Open the Account View or change the quote source to TradeKing, Then restart MT and it will be OK again.
  5. Mutual funds will update either way if you have them in MT format, meaning with the _ prefix. TDA datafeed by default does not return every tick. It is consolidated. You get about 4 updates per sec max. If the stock trades more often than that, a row in raw data may represent multiple actual trades. If you select to Stream TICK Quotes, MT does some magic to merge two datafeeds from MT together in order to get true tick quotes.. Sometimes TDA datafeed for tick quotes goes belly up, at which point you may notice that bid/ask are updating, but not last or volume.
  6. Please email a screenshot of that to support@medvedtrader.com
  7. Troder, can't really comment on it without seeing the chart/data. Please select FILE / HELP / Send Log/Settings to support, and check the QUOTE DATA checkbox - include this URL in the comments and send.
  8. thats the thing. when I looked, after first login, it failed. 2nd one - was OK. But I cannot test stuff when its like that. I kind of need a repeatable situation. will see.
  9. some news sources do partial matching. nothing I can do about it.
  10. NOTE: i tried and it worked fine here. Are you seeing Level II on quotes directly on the website? Not sure if the account needs to be enabled for it for BELL Direct.
  11. Andrew, could you do the following to help me fix the problem: 1) set logging level to 200 on the bottom right of the main dashboard window 2) Refresh the Level II window 3) Send me the Log file and settings: go to FILE / HELP / Send Log/Settings to support. (Put in URL to this page in the comment on that page)
  12. We do not have any such text ("Unable to pin"). Really have no idea what you are referring to. Send a screenshot via email
  13. that is as intended. the Consolidate is for consolidating multiple entries for the same symbol in the portfolio when displaying it
  14. when you say it is duplicated, do you mean on the table where the quotes are showing, or in the portfolio editor only?
  15. checked for which portfolio? the source or the target? It needs to be checked for the target portfolio
  16. ok, that works as intended. If you do not want duplicates to show in a portfolio, go to the portfolio editor and check the Consolidate checkbox on the bottom
  17. False positive. We codesign everything with EV certificates which are the strongest ones available.
  18. MT is always showing the latest value coming from the datafeed. RTH for hist Backfill request. It has no impact on the chart showing data that is already in MT, and the last bar on hist chart comes from Open, High, Low, and LAST on the quotes. There is no way for us to reliably know what the official close is. Though you could mess with switching sources, that will not reliably get you the RTH quote. if you want RTH on historical, turn off the real-time option for the historical charts.
  19. Crashes would not really be a TK or broker problem. That would be MT and we try our best to avoid them. Fills - MT passes the order to the broker immediately, so there shouldn't be any added lag, be it TK or any other. User response welcome.
  20. the update actually may help the problem you were previously having that we were trying to find. As for the charts not updating, let us know if you still have the issue after the update, and include details.
  21. for indicators on the main chart, you can do that, but for ones on separate panel, unless it is one of multiple linked indicators, you can't do that since the panel on which you would have to right click to show the indicator is no longer there. QT was the same way
  22. is Hist Backfill set to TD Ameritrade? If so, that would be why - they had a problem it seems with some symbols not gathering data for the past couple days, which caused that issue. MT shows you all the connections on the dashboard - SOURCES display. you can see everything there. You can change the default backfill sources on the main dashboard as well. Quote source for Level I quotes is selected on top of the portfolio window
  23. correct. It is really more due to the way windows handles memory allocation
  24. the OutOfMemory errors occur when MT is running on 32 bit versions of Windows. Nothing we can do about those.
  25. if you click the Edit Portfolio button, it will do that. Not in right click, but will still go to the symbol currently selected
