If you change it that often, why not use the keyboard shortcuts? 2 hours is 4. don't have predefined 15 min, though you can set a custom one to 15, then use the = as the shortcut for that. you can also add those options to the QAT. If you add the individual items, then it would give you one click access. If you add the Period menu itself, then you can hit one keyboard shortcut like ALT+4 to dropdown the menu without any mouse (the actual number after the ALT would depend on the position of the item in the QAT) We do not plan to add the stuff to the right click menu at this time. At least not until we add custom menus.

the user controlled keyboard shortcuts are relatively far down on the list. I think what you need to do meanwhile is polish up on the MT Ribbon Toolbar customization and QAT (Quick Access Toolbar) in particular. Now that feature is in the caption (in the QAT) and can be accessed with one click. You can even do that with individual Chart Period entries. click on the menu to show the various PERIOD values. Right click on 4 days. Select to add it to QAT. Now the 4 shows up in the QAT and is accessible with one click if you add a lot of stuff in QAT and your charts are narrow, you will find that things don't fit. One easy way to handle that is to set the QAT to show below the ribbon instead of on the caption. If you do that, then the QAT will show up as a thin toolbar just below the ribbon if the ribbon is shown, or right under the caption otherwise and will have a lot more room. For example:

ISSU is a special one. The HIGH has # of companies Advancing, The LOW declining. MT automatically sets the LAST to be HIGH-LOW. The problem is that there was logic after that to adjust the LOW if LAST is < LOW. That shouldn't have been done in this particular case. I fixed it so it will not do that in the future and the high/low will actually show the advancing/declining values.

Chart column won't help. Paintbars are for regular charts only, not the chart column. We do have help in MT for them (hit F1, but sounds like it may be a bit much right now):

Hmm, actually, you have 4.5.2 and running Vista SP1, I thought you cannot install 4.5 on SP1. No idea how you did. But since you are running the version, then I am confused about what your problem i. Why can't you login to TK? You mentioned something about IE 9. MT adjusts to whatever IE version you have installed. Is the login screen not working with your IE version? Please email me the picture.

If you don't have at least Vista SP2, then you cannot install .NET 4.5 and MT will not run. There is nothing we can do about that. And you need to have a recent version of MT to be able to use TradeKing

Avg Vol is supposed to come from the datafeed. Not all support that. TD Ameritrade does not for example. We also made MT compute it when it gets Historical Backfill, which is what you are seeing. You can just hit Hist Backfill All button on the portfolio window once a week or so.

Paintbars can do alerts that can be on any criteria. Basically fully customized alerts. However, it would only work if the chart is open for the symbol
