  1. That particular one is beta but the production version will work too. You were missing production version updates, not betas
  2. you are using a very old version of MT. I emailed you a link to update. That would fix the issue.
  3. Couple of things to note: 1) for those running the current production version (1.1.746.54) might see Commsec disappear from the list of sites. My fault. I just fixed that. If you have the issue, select FILE / HELP / Check for Updates and let MT update all files, then restart MT. That should fix 2) As you may have noticed, CommSec implemented secondary login security in the form of Security Questions or SMS verification. They only seem to turn that on during market hours. MT Supports that, BUT only the Security Questions. If your account does not have Security Questions setup, MT will not be able to login during market hours. Please login to your Commsec Account and make sure Security Questions are setup. You can still have SMS stuff setup and even have SMS as default, so long as the Security Questions are setup. There is nothing further that you need to do in MT to have it handle the new security features. MT will prompt you with the Security Question when needed (usually two questions)
  4. sorry for the delay answering. You have one shortcut to switch to the last used custom period/frequency: = and CTRL+= respectively 0 and CTRL+0 select custom period/frequency AND bring up the the popup for it where as the = just switches to the last used. letting users control keyboard shortcuts is for a project down the road.
  5. no, there isn't. Think about it - would be pretty bad security
  6. (or of course setting up the security questions, even if you do leave SMS as the default)
  7. the only thing I can suggest is starting to try using the 64 bit version of IE explicitly: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
  8. I do not currently have SMS only implemented. I was waiting for them to turn it on consistently so I could test. Will put it in and let you know. Meanwhile, if you log in using Internet Explorer and select to remember the device, it should work
  9. I just checked - seems to be working here. do you have security questions defined on your account or just SMS?
  10. The quote not updating would cause the time on the quote not to update, not the other way around. What broker? What symbol? What MT version?
  11. though we could do that, I see that type of absolute alert on volume of limited use. The alert triggering at 10AM may mean something, while at 3:30 may just indicate low volume. "high volume" is usually meaningful within a particular timeframe
  12. Bruce, we never had a volume alert column. However, we actually can implement one now - where you specify X volume in Y minutes where X is either absolute, or percent. Similar to the price Moving alert. I added it to the todo list.
  13. on the chart ribbon switch to the VIEW tab. Click on OPTIONS button. Unselect "Indicator Legends"
  14. new beta version just released. Either select FILE / HELP / Check Updates or just download from http://www.medvedtrader.com/beta and install over the existing.
  15. NOTE: if you want to use the "Remember me on this device" option, you must use Internet Explorer browser to do it. Otherwise, it will not impact MT and MT will still need to go through the security questions or SMS
  16. We updated MT to support Commsec's new security Question/Answer validation. MT should prompt you with 2 security questions if needed during the login. It should now work even if SMS is selected as the default validation. However, if you do not have security questions configured, then MT login will NOT work unless you login via website and select the option to remember this device, so that the login process will not ask again. We may implement direct SMS support as well, but seems that Commsec turned off the security features again (they that last weekend too). We will look at this further when Commsec re-enables the stuff.
  17. the switch in MT has been completed. Everything should be working.
  18. E*Trade Trading integration complete. Just released new beta version of MT: http://www.medvedtrader.com/beta
  19. I am in the midst of E*Trade integration. Mostly done. FYI - Trading supports stocks and options. However, keep in mind that their quotes, which we did completely separately, only support stocks. Yes, I know. But it is out of my hands
  20. We released a new beta version with Pivot Point Alerts on all supported Pivot Point types!! Also added options to get rid of password prompt when trading, and ability to save the Auto Transmit option for Chart Trading. Enjoy http://www.medvedtrader.com/beta ADDED - ALERTS - Daily Pivot Point Alerts ADDED - CHART TRADING - SETTINGS option to allow saving Auto-Transmit setting (requires prompt, password) ADDED - CHART TRADING - option to not to show the order price on Y axis (SETTINGS/CHARTS/Display) ADDED - CHART TRADING - order capsule - add "Fixed Window Position" for order / position capsules ADDED - TRADING - SETTING option to NOT require password prompt (requires prompt, password to set) FIXED - IB - connection issue in recent beta versions
  21. this was an issue on MB server side, but it shouldn't have caused a problem in MT for those that logged in within 24 hours previously. I fixed that problem so it will not impact you in the future.
  22. MB does not allow concurrent logins, so what you did would definitely cause a problem
  23. I need to get the log file to see what the problem is. Please do the following: go to FILE / Export/Backup menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) Select “To share with others” export file protection option on top right Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please.
