    That is the new style in Windows 10. Note that all windows are like that, not just MT. Don't know if you can change that in Windows 10.

    it has nothing to do with when you enter stuff. MT has 2 different ways to get the quotes from Yahoo - reading their HTML page for multi-symbol response, or a comma separated response (we call it API response). Yahoo seems to disable API response for some symbols or exchanges, particularly non-US. So we made MT get the HTML quotes for non-US symbols. HTML page does not have the 52 week High/low and Market Cap. The difference you saw is between entering UBSG.VX, which MT handles as a US stock since it does not have an MT suffix, and UBSG:VX, which MT knows is not a US symbol

    instead of UBSG.VX, enter it using MT format, which would be USBG:VX For most common exchanges, MT automatically sets the Timeframe based on the symbol, but we really couldn't do it globally for all exchanges. Don't know all exchanges that IB and Yahoo support :). So, for this one, you will need to set the timeframe manually. On the chart, click on the VIEW tab and in the Timeframes section, change the timeframe to "European Equities". Then click on the timeframe dropdown again and at the top of the menu, click on "Set Symbol Default: .... "

    IB has "FDEMO" account, which is an adviser account, but I don't know all IB ins and outs - so its just easier to ask someone who knows.

    we don't actually do anything special to make the trading work via master account. Does it use allocation specified somewhere in TWS? As far as showing Positions, does TWS just add up the positions in the various account?

    Marty, We addressed the container window stuff here: As for the gap, yes, I know about that one - that is the shadow around the windows. Windows 10 thing. For our own stuff, we had to jump through hoops to get rid of that. Will deal with that in the future when we add our own tiling. Zooming - we are not going to change that. Just because TWS and TC2000 do it wrong doesn't mean we have to. Try it here, in the browser. Works exactly the same as in MT. MT lets you select multiple symbols as long as they are next to each other. You can just click (and hold) and move up/down to highlight. As long as you are clicking anywhere EXCEPT the Symbol column.

    After opening all the chart Windows, right click on an empty area on the Windows taskbar. There should be an option there to arrange the windows. The specific wording will be different depending on which version of Windows you are using. As for the mouse wheel zoom, the only way is to hold down the Ctrl key and then use the wheel. That is standard functionality in most Windows applications and we don't want to break with the standard

    Well, first off, you should not be using QuoteTracker. It will be completely disabled soon (September 1). As for Level II delay, is it every day or just some times? What types of symbols? NASDAQ? NYSE? OTC? etc? I have seen their datafeed mess up at times and start doing delay, but usually only on some symbols. If it happens, Email support with the details and log file so we can get the right TDA server ID from it. Jerry

After it finishes and fails: go to FILE / Export/Backup menu (from Dashboard or Portfolio) Select “To share with others” export file protection option on top right Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please, along with COMMSEC_*.* files from the following folder: C:\Users\<Your Windows Login name here>\AppData\Local\2GK\Medved Trader\temp\streamers

    Hmm, we recreated it once, but can't get it to happen again. Initially it works OK but then later when something happens, it starts the messed up mode at which point recreating it is simple. The question is, how do you get it to happen in the first place? Notice it start after some particular action?

    have not had any other reports of that and do not see that here. What are your exact Windows theme settings? Do you do anything in MT (in other windows) at the time it changes or just sitting there? Are you using any utilities that manage windows, add things to caption, etc.?

    Implemented the volume alert. You can specify the alert to trigger when volume increases by X in Y time. If you just want to be notified when volume reaches X, leave the time as 00:00 Emailed you
