transaction order history is NOT the same thing as MT Trade Log. Both MT and QT have Transactions and both MT and QT have Trade Log. If you wish to see all transactions for the day, go to Account View, Transactions tab.

Trade log is showing trading activity for the session, not for the day. So if you restart, it will start clean (QT did that too btw)

What broker? Can you send me the log so I can see when the Trade Log entries were added (or not added) go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please.

the problem is, how to do it. If I just add a sync Indicators button on the chart, you would need to click it and select the setup to load indicators from, on every chart. Doing something like "all Red Pin charts" is not really feasible. There are too many options. For you its all pinned. for someone else its all intraday but not EOD. Someone else will want all NOT pinned... You get the idea. That is where I run into a problem.....

Question - isn't that basically the same as the "Sync Open Charts" button, with the dropdown where you can select just "Sync Indicators"?

Note that the start is different colors depending on the action, but will see about using a letter. 3) the thing is, we don't currently have the next earnings date. I do have it on my todo list to look to see if we can get it from any of the datafeeds. If at least a couple have it, we will add a data point for it, and then will be able to add features based on it.

Keyboard shortcuts - right now it is not feasible. In the future, we may add ability to customize keyboard shortcuts in MT in general. If we do, would look at it at that time Flatten - will look, though it is pretty easy to either do Sell at Bid (CTRL+F12) or do SELL (CTRL+F11) and just drop it below the current price action, which is basically the same thing. This assumes you have MT set to default the QTY to the position if one is available

Found, Fixed, Emailed you the updated version. Issue was specific to IB - Modifying STOP orders, most likely only via charts.

I did check here with IB and didn't get any issue. So definitely seems to be something specific to what you are doing. The log should show it.

what happened was that previously we had it default to: Max Price............Increment 1....................0.001 10...................0.01 100..................0.05 All others...........0.1 We changed it to Max Price............Increment 1....................0.001 100..................0.01 1000.................0.1 All others...........0.1 But the change does not impact already configured accounts

oops, accidentally deleted your reply: I had whatever the defaults were, but changed them all to an increment of 0.01, and everything works now.

MT is using the spin increments you define on the account. Go to SETTINGS / TRADING / ACCOUNTS. Select the account in question. Then on the right side, go to SPIN INCREMENTS tab and adjust the spin increments. What do you have there now?

we are actually looking at that. The actual moving things together is basically already there. The part that is hard is to make it simple to use.

If you have a lot of tick data and are seeing very slow chart opening times (4 - 7 sec), it may be the spike filter. Go to FILE / SETTINGS / CHARTS / SPIKE FILTERING and uncheck the "Enable Spike Filtering" checkbox on top and hit OK. We will see if we can do something about that in future updates.

Yes, basically, the other apps don't do the tricks to get the best performance, which we do by running the different windows in their own threads. Doing is not simple but we felt it was worth the performance improvement. Yes, I can make an option to create various windows inside a container window, and even have multiple container windows. However, to do that, we would have to create all the windows inside a particular container in the same thread. If you have a few different containers, that won't make that huge of a difference (I don't think), but if you have all the MT window running in the same container, that would basically negate a lot of the performance improvements we worked so hard to make. The responsiveness of the individual windows will likely go down.

though we have container windows as a possibility for future features, it is not something imminent. You can also Minimize All / Restore All or Bring all to front from the right click menu on the Medved Trader logo icon on the task bar (you may need to make it always visible if Windows hid it) You can also enable the "Floating Logo" (Dashboard SETTINGS menu) in which case it will always be available regardless of what windows are in front As for option for chart windows to be on top, go to SETTINGS / APPLICATION / GENERAL. "Child Windows on top (Charts, Level II, etc)" is there.
