  1. We will change that, though just FYI - after the change any date prior to September 21 will be shown with the new timeframe. However, the only timeframe I have that has a break at 16:45 is GLOBEX (for @ESU15 for example) and the data shows that the gap is from 16:15 to 17:00 CT, not to 16:45. Guess we will see on Monday
  2. By the way, if you do get this again, and you are able to recreate it, could you do me a favor - set log level to 200 on dashboard. stop/start quotes to recreate. Once recreated, change logging back to 10, and export settings + log and email to me and let me know exactly which symbols to look at. I ran into this issue with MBT and TDA and dealt with it there, but this is the first time I've seen it with IQFeed. Will check in code there too.
  3. the issue is that somehow a future quote time got in. You don't need to restart MT or delete the data file. You can select the option to clear data, and pick "Current Day". Can do it on individual symbol, or all symbols on the portfolio (clear button on the portfolio ribbon). or all symbols in MT (Clear button on the dashboard)
  4. emailed you. Keep in mind that you need to add a :CA suffix for Canadian symbols
  5. We need to upgrade Medved Trader to use .NET 4.5. Windows XP can only support .NET 4.0 and thus will not be able to use new versions of the software. We will also need to upgrade our servers for security reasons, which will make it impossible for programs running on Windows XP to connect to them using SSL. To continue using Medved Trader, you would need to upgrade the computer to a newer version of Windows or use MT on another computer that has a newer version of Windows. We recommend Windows 10 or Windows 7. We plan to have at least one more update of the MT Software that will still be compatible with XP. MT automatic update mechanism will not upgrade to an incompatible version. We plan to update the software to use .NET 4.5 on or after September 26, 2015. We plan to update our servers on or after October 17, 2015. Older versions of MT will continue to function properly for about a month after the server is updated, so most likely until November. Technical reasons for the update: Transport Layer Security (TLS) and its predecessor, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), are both frequently referred to as 'SSL' and are required for secure communication over the Internet TLS version 1.0 has been compromised. Everyone is updating their servers to only support TLS 1.2. .NET 4.0 (which is currently used by MT) only supports TLS 1.0 and we would need to update to .NET 4.5 to get TLS 1.2 support. .NET 4.5 cannot be used on XP. So - MT will not be able to support XP.
  6. emailed you. Since you are using Ninja, I assume you already have TWS setup to enable the API. As for your prayers, what exactly do you need? just want to make sure we are meeting the needs.
  7. just emailed you. And thanks
  8. I have it on my todo list, but have been busy with some other items.
  9. With IB, you have to have TWS running and API enabled. So, 1) Start TWS and login 2) in TWS settings, enable the API. Leave the port as default Now start MT and try to connect. If already started and it shows IB faulted, right click on that line and select Force Re-login
  10. just emailed you. You have problems logging in with Ameritrade account, email our support
  11. Jerry Medved

    Windows 10

MT needs a full windows version to run, not just the mobile
  12. Login - you can go to SETTINGS / Data Sources / Configure Accounts... Select Commsec. UN-Check the Save Password checkbox. Then restart MT. NOTE however, MT should automatically detect a bad password, if that is the problem. Whatever the problem is, I would like to see the debug files related to it. If you could do the following, it would help: On the Dashboard, bottom right - change logging level to 100 Try logging into Commsec - Repeat an extra time if not sure if it went through the whole process after the logging level was changed go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, go to C:\Users\<Your Windows Login here>\AppData\Local\2GK\Medved Trader\Temp\Streamers and zip up all the files who's name starts with "COMMSEC" then email me the exported file and the zipped up commsec files. Thanks
