  1. Pressure - volume of trades going off at or below the bid vs at or above the ask - last 30 trades. Both on the quote row and on the side of the charts.
  2. LAST color coding - its basically showing the rage %. If Range % is 25, then left 25% of the range will be green, right 75% will be red. Range is High-Low. Range % is (Last-Low)/Range (*100 if you want it as integers)
  3. Timeframe do not impact the time display. What controls that is the time zone setting on SETTINGS /APPLICATION / GENERAL it defaults to the timezone that the computer is set to use. As for showing time twice, I don't know. Need the log and settings for that
  4. I need to get the log file and settings to see what the problem is. Please do the following: go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please. Include the screen shots i the email thanks
  5. that works as intended. The inserted row shows up at the point where the row highlight is. That is standard practice.
  6. that option applies to trading being triggered directly from the portfolio window - right click/Trade, CTRL+T, or double click on bid/ask/last to send the trade to the trade ticket. Linking is not the same thing. With linking, it just sets the symbol to whatever the current linked symbol is for the given color group and knows nothing about QTY or anything else in any portfolio, so default QTY is applied. Think of it this way - what if you have 3 portfolios all linked with BLUE Pin, and each one has AAPL but with different symbol? Or even 1 portfolio with 3 entries for AAPL, with different values on each entry? no way to determine which to use.
  7. I tried but do not see any situation where the multiple compare symbols on the same chart do not anchor in the same place. Can you send me a picture along with your settings export?
  8. Emailed you. As for the other brokerages, do not currently support them
  9. emailed you. y, we just started working on the site. nothing there yet.
  10. @Bonkers, the bulb for the symbol will turn off simply if you view the headlines for the symbol. Even if you do not view the headlines directly. The read flag on each headline will turn off if you view the actual details (or if there are no details). Based on your description, I don't think I see any problem. If I misunderstood, please clarify what you are expecting to see.
  11. Peter, emailed you. NOTE: MT works with TD Ameritrade legacy data. Accounts that have been “upgraded” to “enhanced” features will no longer support the API and MT will not be able to login. In that case, you would need to call them to have your account switched to “Green” account, or open another account and switch it to a “Green” account. For more on this, refer to http://forums.medvedtrader.com/index.php?/topic/287-fyi-td-ameritrade-login-issues/
  12. the thing is, this starts getting into some overlap between MT Portfolios and the account Positions. MT portfolios can have symbol QTY, PAID, etc, but those are basically manually entered and not everyone would use it. Account Positions (on the Account View screen, POSITIONS tab) have actual account data, that is up to date. However, it is only there IF that account is currently logged in. If you have 10 accounts defined and only brought up trade related windows in MT for 2 of them, MT will not login to the other 8 and thus will not know about whatever positions are there.. I guess we could at some point add a search type function. Remind me after we do the multi-trade window
  13. The bulbs will turn on if something about the news item changed, but not so much that it would be shown as a new headline. Is the issue that the bulb is turned on for the already read in news, OR that the same item is added again so you now have old and new? If the 2nd, then is the DATE/TIME on the new item different? I just tried with ASX and was unable to reproduce. I just had it get news on a batch of symbols in a portfolio, cleared all bulbs, then had it update the news again. I have a feeling the issue happens on new date based on UTC time, which If you are able to recreate and have a chance to deal with it, maybe you could do this: 1) turn off everything including ALL NEWS , quotes, Level II, ec. 2) Clear all bulbs (can easily do that on the All News window) 3) create a single test portfolio/watchlist that has the symbols that you saw the issue with the bulbs. 4) on bottom right of the Dashboard (on status bar), change Logging Level to 100 5) turn NEWS on for just the TEST portfolio from step 3 6) After it finishes updating all the news for the symbols in the portfolio, Export Log and settings: go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file. indicate FIRST BATCH in the email (Can turn news off and log level back now until step 7) 7) Later on, do steps 4 through 6 again, and send me the exported file indicating SECOND BATCH..Indicate which exact symbols, news headlines had the problem. Thanks Jerry
  14. I have this on my plate to check. Just haven't had a chance yet.

    re ALERTS

Next build will have the sound selection as either file entry or dropdown with predefined sounds
  16. Emailed you. Commsec should work fine in MT. Actually, better than it did in QT. Remember to add :ASX suffix on the symbols to indicate to MT that it is an Australian symbol, so it will handle things properly
  17. Your account is not enabled for API. "TOS" accounts are not. You would need to either call them to switch the account to a "Green" account or open another one and make sure it stays set to "Green" account. Refer to http://forums.medvedtrader.com/index.php?/topic/287-fyi-td-ameritrade-login-issues/
  18. Hi Bill, I fixed the issue with the Open and Save Dialog Boxes screwing up the window order and causing the dashboard to come to front. Will be in next update.
  19. WatchList - You can add multiple watchlists in MT. A Watchlist is just another type of portfolio, so on Port Edit screen, click the arrow on the right side of the ADD button and select Watchlist. You then open the window same as any portfolio. Ticker tape - you actually use it for scrolling or just static? We plan to add a hybrid of the index panel and ticker tape, but were not planning to do the scrolling. Simultaneous buy/sell - you mean press one button and MT send orders to multiple accounts? That is not likely in the near future. However, you can open multiple trade tickets for same or different accounts now. Also, we plan to add a multi-order window where you can enter multiple orders (one per line) at the same time, then send them either with one click to send all, or with submit button next to each one. The plan is to allow account selection for each of those orders, so one can be to TD Ameritrade, another to IB, etc.
  20. login again - you should not get that message now
  21. sorry about that. still dealing with some web site stuff. Try again now.
