  1. If you are still having an issue, do this: Stop quotes from RBC in MT portfolio Restart MT On MT dashboard, change the logging level to 200 (bottom right, on the status bar) Try starting the quotes After it fails, send me the export/log files AND all files starting with RBC in the following folder: %LocalAppData%\2GK\Medved Trader\Temp\Streamers To export, go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, and also check LOG FILE. Export, then email me the exported file please. Thanks
  2. the prompt would definitely mess up MT login process. If it is still there, I will try to make MT handle that.
  3. I have them on our to do list. I would like to know how much interest there is no. So if you know others who would like them added, have them post here
  4. Will be in the next update. Let me know how the version I gave you works for you
  5. Hi David, I cannot recreate myself. please send me your settings: go to FILE / Export Settings. Leave the checkboxes already checked, Export, then email me the exported file please.
  6. We are working on it. I'll get back to you later today
  7. Bob, I emailed you log instructions and a newer intraday build to see if that resolves the issues.
  8. How did you install the first one? its the same thing
  9. put it this way, if you happen to have 60 days of tick data on AAPL, that is about 450 gig. for just that one symbol. Yes, that is an extreme case, but just an example. MT needs to have lots of the data it uses in memory for performance reasons rather than having to constantly get from disk, so it does add up
  10. emailed you. Let me know if it works for you
  11. thanks. that error will be taken care of in the next build.
  12. if you have lots of charts or other windows open, MT will use a lot of memory
  13. create a 2nd portfolio with just the futures symbols. Open a 2nd portfolio window with that 2nd portfolio selected and set IB as the quote source. NOTE: TWS must be running and you need to enable the API in the TWS settings
  14. y, will add though can't say when exactly
  15. MT has built in color sets for the charts. It also lets you define your own. The built in (system) ones are not user editable. What you can do is just copy one of them and then edit the copy. On the chart, you would switch to the new (copy) of the color set (VIEW tab)
  16. The data storage structure is not designed for that type of access. Not optimized for it. And there is no SQL type capabilities for generalized searches
  17. The range % column shows that in MT. Also note that the LAST column is color coded based on the range %
  18. Seems that TD Ameritrade datafeed is experiencing issues this morning on various symbols - bid/ask values bad on some symbols. No updates on others. Please note that this is a datafeed issue, NOT software issue, so it is not caused by the new version of MT, and re-installing stuff is not going to do anything. I did just report the issue to TD Ameritrade
  19. We've added "Tip of the Day" functionality. Now just need to add all the tips So, if you have a problem with something that you think would be a good candidate for an answer via Tip of the day, or have some tips that you think others will benefit from, please post them here.
  20. Nothing for the her there. If Schwab cooperates, will be glad to implement it
  21. The various windows are created asynchronously. We try to recreate them in the original order but cannot assure that. Even moving a window to another monitor and back will change the order. Changing things to load synchronously would significantly slow things down, so we do not want to make that trade-off
  22. this issue has been found and fixed - will be in the next update.
  23. You are not doing anything incorrectly. TD Ameritrade and MB Trading backfill does not work for options. You can click on the dropdown portion of the backfill button on the chart and select "Backfill Using.. " and select Google for the backfill source - that will backfill options I believe. Yahoo too, but only 1 day backfill
  24. not sure what you mean. Renko charts don't have wicks at all. What symbol? What Historical backfill source? Can you please email support@medvedtrader.com with a picture of the chart?
  25. Jan 18 - disregard - that was me misreading. Yes, my suggestion would cause all data other than symbols to be lost. You can do the export - just export the portfolios only. Then open the export file with zip and then in UserSettings, edit the Portfolios.config with a text editor, you can do symbol changes right in the file (just be careful not to modify anything else) and then save. That should save within the zip/export file. Then you can import again. If you want, just send me the export and I will take care of it for you
